What is your business worth today?

A structured, deterministic platform for company valuation, fundraising readiness and investor reporting — built for startups and established companies alike.

The problem

Getting a credible valuation has traditionally meant one of two things: paying a boutique consultant a large fee for a slow, opaque process, or negotiating from gut feel and mismatched spreadsheets. Neither approach scales, neither is transparent about its assumptions, and neither gives investors a consistent, comparable way to evaluate multiple companies.

On the other side, angel investors, accelerators and funds reviewing many companies need a fast, consistent way to sanity-check a valuation, understand a company’s structural readiness, and get a clean, professional document for their own investment discussions.

The solution

InvestOS turns a structured data submission into a complete, indicative valuation package in minutes rather than weeks — without a black-box algorithm and without a per-deal consulting fee. Any company, from a pre-revenue startup to an established, profitable business, completes one structured Excel template. The platform validates the data, runs it through eight established, publicly documented valuation methods, and produces a live dashboard, a cap table and dilution model, and an investor-ready PDF report.

Every number the platform produces is traceable to a specific input, a labeled assumption, or a named method. There is no AI or machine-learning model anywhere in the calculation path: every method is a documented, deterministic formula, identical inputs always produce identical results, and every skipped calculation states plainly which input was missing rather than silently guessing. That transparency is a deliberate product decision — it is what makes the output usable in a real investment conversation.

How it works

  1. 1Register and download a structured Excel template covering company, product, market, financials, fundraising terms, risk and exit information — with a field guide and a filled example.
  2. 2The platform parses and validates the file automatically, flagging missing fields, out-of-range values and logically impossible combinations before any calculation runs.
  3. 3Eight valuation methods run independently against the validated data; a method that lacks the inputs it needs is skipped, with the reason stated.
  4. 4The results feed a live dashboard, a cap table with a dilution simulator, SAFE and convertible note conversion modeling, and a fundraising calculator — plus a downloadable PDF investor report.

Valuation methodology

The engine runs eight established methods side by side: the Berkus Method, Scorecard Method, Risk Factor Summation, Venture Capital Method, Discounted Cash Flow, Comparable Multiples, Cost to Duplicate and the First Chicago Method. The report shows the full range across all of them, plus a stage-weighted estimate in which each method counts according to its relevance to the company’s stage. Every method’s result stays visible — outliers are flagged, never hidden.

Estimate = Σ (w × V) ÷ Σ w
w = each method’s weight for the company’s stage · V = each method’s result. An indicative composite with its full range — not a fixed market price.

Platform capabilities

  • Automated Excel import, validation and data-quality scoring, with a completeness and confidence rating on every submission.
  • An eight-method valuation engine producing the full valuation range plus a transparent stage-weighted estimate — never a single fixed price.
  • A key inputs & assumptions table in every report: each figure labeled as company-provided, benchmark, method convention, model assumption, default or not provided.
  • A versioned benchmark register with the source behind each benchmark — or a plain statement that none was verified — so past reports stay reproducible.
  • Sensitivity analysis for the DCF, VC Method and Comparable Multiples, showing how the value moves when key assumptions change.
  • Automatically generated strengths, weaknesses, risks and an investment-readiness score across financial, legal, product, market and fundraising dimensions.
  • A fundraising calculator, a live cap table with a multi-round dilution simulator, and SAFE / convertible note analyzers.
  • A branded PDF investor report, a downloadable mutual NDA template, and published privacy, terms, cookie and data-processing pages.
  • Role-based accounts, an administrative panel, an audit log and a built-in support channel.

Why startups and companies choose it

A founder or finance team gets, in minutes and without a consulting fee, a structured, indicative valuation package — plus a cap table model, a dilution simulator and a document ready to put in front of an investor. Because every figure is tied to a specific input, assumption or named method, teams can see exactly what is driving their number and what would move it — whether they are three months old or ten years into profitable operation.

Why investors and deal-sourcing teams value it

Investors reviewing many companies get a consistent, comparable format across every deal instead of a different spreadsheet from every founder. The platform never invents data it wasn’t given: a missing field is reported as missing, a default is labeled as a default, and company-provided figures are marked as not independently verified — so an investor knows exactly what the page reflects.

Built to last

The platform is built and maintained with the rigor a due-diligence process would expect: 400+ automated tests covering calculations and workflows, deliberate stress-testing against edge cases and unusual data, and a fault-isolated engine in which one method’s failure never takes down the rest.
