This template restates, in one place, exactly what the platform is built to request and not request. Have it reviewed by qualified counsel before publishing.

What we ask for

Invest-OS requests only the information necessary to compute your company’s valuation, whether it is a startup or an established business: the structured fields in the Excel Company, Founders, Product, Market, Business, Customers, Financials, Fundraising, Risks, and Exit sheets. Fields marked “Confidential” in the template are always optional.

What we do not ask for

The platform does not request, and you should never submit through it:

Source code
Passwords or credentials to your own systems
API keys
Your customers’ personal data
Trade secrets
Confidential technical documentation

How it's processed

Uploaded data is parsed, validated, and run through deterministic, rule-based valuation calculations. No AI or LLM is used anywhere in this processing path in the current version of the platform.

Who can see it

Only you, by default. Platform administrators can access account and usage data for support and security purposes, and every such access is recorded in an audit log — see our Admin Panel.

Your control over it

You can request an export or deletion of your data at any time by contacting [insert contact email].
